CWSGA 95th NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

95th National Tournament

We are pleased to enclose the application to our 95th National Tournament to be held September 5-9, 2017, at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu in La Malbaie, Quebec, with golf using combinations of the 3 nine-hole courses located at the resort.

The Quebec and National Executives are looking forward to hosting our Ontario and New Brunswick members.  All applications will be accepted for the Stroke Play and Stableford competitions.

Schedule for the tournament (Full details along with driving directions will be sent to registrants in August.)

Tuesday, September 5 – arrive in the afternoon and attend welcoming cocktail reception and dinner, which will include a welcome to our new members.

Wednesday, September 6 – 9-hole Team Best Ball competition and practice round (option to play 18 holes) followed by cocktail reception and dinner.

Thursday, September 7 – First round of Stroke Play and Stableford competitions, followed by our Annual General Meeting and casual buffet BBQ dinner.

Friday, September 8 – Final round of Stroke Play and Stableford competitions.  Cocktail reception followed by dinner and Awards Ceremony.

Saturday, September 9 – Departure

What you have to do
1.     Complete the Tournament Entry Form and mail with cheque for $150 to Ann Blair (Treasurer) by June 26, 2017.   To obtain an entry form email: sjohnstoncwsga@rogers.com

Cancellations should be sent to: Janet McCartney (tournament chair)  j.mcartney@videotron.ca  
There will be no refunds after August 1.

2.     Follow the directives outlined on the Hotel Reservation Instructions document to book accommodation directly with the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu.  To obtain the Hotel Reservation form email: sjohnstoncwsga@rogers.com

Do you need a roommate?
Please contact Sheila Johnston (sjohnstoncwsga@rogers.com) and she will add your name to a list to circulate so you can arrange your own roommate.
