CWSGA 94th National Tournament

We are pleased to enclose the application to our 94^th National Tournament to be held September 6 – 10, 2016 at Niagara Falls, Ontario with accommodation at the Fallsview Marriott and golf at the Battlefield and Ussher’s Creek 18 hole courses at Legends on the Niagara.

The Ontario and National Executive are looking forward to hosting our Quebec and New Brunswick members.  We have two 18 hole championship courses available and will be accepting all applications for the Stableford and Stroke Play competitions.

SCHEDULE FOR THE TOURNAMENT (full details along with driving directions from the Toronto airport to be sent to registrants in August)

Tuesday, September 6 – arrive in the afternoon and attend welcoming cocktail party and dinner which will include a big welcome to our new members.

Wednesday – 9 hole Team Best Ball and practice round with tee times, dinner and entertainment.

Thursday – first round of stroke play, an afternoon shotgun, followed by our Annual General Meetings and dinner at the golf course.

Friday – Final round of stroke play with morning shotgun.  Dinner and awards ceremony in the evening.

Saturday, September 10 – Departure

TRAVEL TO THE GOLF COURSES FROM THE HOTEL – Wednesday by car to be retrieved from valet parking (please carpool), Thursday and Friday by the Niagara Parks WEGO bus system – two outbound trips and two return trips.

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO - Come prepared to enjoy yourself and please complete and forward the following:

1.     Tournament registration with cheque to Cherie Henry by June 27.

2.     Please reserve accommodation directly with the Fallsview Marriott using the attached form.

There will be no refunds after August 1.

I’D LOVE TO ATTEND BUT DON’T HAVE A ROOMMATE - Please contact our registrar, Sheila Johnston (sjohnston@cwsga.com), and she will add your name to a list to circulate so you can arrange your own roommate.
