Just a short note to report that the 2nd Annual Satellite Tournament was an outstanding success. We had a wonderful sunny warm day at the Club at Renaissance on Monday, Feb. 23.
The cocktail party/dinner at Suzanne Miles' house was a real hit where 60 ladies attended and 65 ladies played golf the next day. We all enjoyed the food and seeing one another again.
The results are as follows:
- Low gross - Debbie Court won in a scorecard playoff of 79. Coleen Phillips tied with a 79.
- First low gross was Ruth Grathwohl winning with a scorecard playoff of 68.
- 2nd place - Marilyn Moore also with a 68.
- 3rd place - Judy Keefe with a scorecard playoff of 69
- 4th place - Bonnie Pattee also 69.
- We had 4 closest to the pins with 2 holes in one by Coleen Phillips and Carolyn Smith. The other 2 were Barbara Flam and Denise Burpee.
